Dr. Girish Jain

I have more than twenty-one years of academic experience, engaging in teaching, training, consulting, and guiding research scholars.

Coming from a commerce background (B.Com and M.Com), I did my MBA with Finance speculation from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. I did my Ph.D. from CCS University, Meerut titled, “Risk Disclosure by Indian Banks: A Critical Study”. I also completed the highest insurance qualification in India – Fellow of Insurance Institute of India in a non-life stream.

I have been teaching subjects like Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Valuation, and Capstone Business Simulation. In the past, I have developed and delivered the subject ‘Enterprise Risk Management’ successfully for five years.

I have published various research articles and my areas of interest are valuation, investment management, earning manipulation, and risk management.

This module gives a basic idea of financial statements and stress upon inventories and receivables – two important value drivers to bring more profit for channel partners.
